We inspire each other, every day, to be our best self.Position SummaryTo provid e friendly, responsive and exceptional guest service to ensure the guest s of Luna Grill will become Raving Fans .Ensures the guest has a great experience by following standard s, the sequence of service , and always having guest awarenessInforms guest (s) of LTOs and menu changes and m akes recommendations accordingly .Demonstrate s knowledge of the brand and menu items by a nswer ing questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and servicesTakes guests food orders and handles cash and credit transactions according to standards .Works with kitchen team to meet any special requirements for ingredients and preparation of foodDelivers food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient mannerPerforms side work at the start and end of each shift as required and gets checked out of position by MODMaintains cleanliness , organization , and mise en place in the service area, dining room and restroomsMonitors and observe guest s dining experience . Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service . M ust be able to communicate (speak, read, write) in the primary language of the work location.Education/Experience RequirementsRestaurant experience preferred but not required . Cash handling experience a plus.Physical Demands/Work En v iron mentPHYSICAL DEMANDS : Stands /walks continuously (up to 5 hours) through the shift . Frequent bending , bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat, use hands, reaching or grasping with hands and arms, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds . Must be able to work under pressure and be flexible to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays.WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Must comply with Companys Appearance and Dress Code standard as set forth in the Team Member Handbook . Works primarily indoors in temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lighted environment . M ay make trips to kitchen, where air may be moist, warm, and odorous from cooking foods .
